Jarno Boano: ” G.P. di Finlandia. Gara impegnativa, intensa, dove percorso e prove speciali sono state le classiche Finlandesi. Prove speciali che hanno fatto la differenza e dove il minimo sbaglio è comunque costato caro a diversi piloti, soprattutto nell’ Extreme Test. Per fortuna almeno il tempo è stato clemente. Per Zach Pichon due risultati positivi anche se con un pò di amarezza per il secondo giorno. Day1 ha chiuso con un ottimo terzo posto nella classe EGP e secondo nella E2. Domenica ha confermato il secondo posto in E2 e avrebbe confermato anche il terzo nella EGP se non fosse stato per una penalizzazione di 30 secondi per la prova fonometrica. La cosa che non abbiamo “digerito” è che la moto ha passato i controlli fonometrici senza problemi sia il Venerdì che il Sabato sera a fine gara, ma come sempre le decisioni FIM sono inappellabili, commissari e strumenti non sbagliano mai! Pichon, in Campionato, rimane comunque in seconda posizione nella classe E2 e terza posizione in EGP.
Week end difficile per Matteo Cavallo dove ha chiuso con un quinto e settimo posto nella E3, tredicesimo e ventesimo nella EGP. Matteo occupa ora la sesta posizione in campionato nella E3 e quindicesimo nella EGP. Nella classe Junior il nostro Elgari ha dimostrato grande velocità ma diverse cadute in entrambe le giornate non gli hanno permesso di raccogliere quanto sperato. Per lui un quinto posto nella EJ e secondo nella EJ1 il sabato, ed un terzo posto nella EJ e vincitore della EJ1 la domenica. Con questi risultati Alberto rimene leader nella EJ1 e passa in seconda posizione in EJ a tre punti dal leader. Verzeroli ha iniziato il week end di gara con una pesande caduta nel Extreme Test, che ha condizionato il suo sabato di gara. Per lui un nono posto in EJ e sesto in EJ2. Domenica è riuscito ad esprimersi un pò meglio, con alcuni tempi nei primi tre posti della Junior ed ha chiuso la giornata con un sesto posto nella EJ e quinto nella EJ2. Manuel dopo questa gara si posiziona al sesto posto in EJ2 e ottavo nella EJ. Sicuramente da questo GP ci aspettavamo tutti un qualcosa di meglio, ma le gare sono cosi, ci sono giorni difficili ai quali bisogna reagire con forza per poter recuperare. Ma nonostante tutto, domenica sera, il clima nel Team era sereno e questa è la cosa più importante!”
Jarno Boano: “The Finnish GP was a challenging, intense race, where the route and special tests were classic Finnish ones. Special tests that made the difference and where the slightest mistake still cost several riders dearly, especially in the Extreme Test. Fortunately, at least the weather was kind. For Zach Pichon, two positive results, although with a bit of disappointment for the second day. On Day 1, he finished with an excellent third place in the EGP class and second in E2. On Sunday, he confirmed his second place in E2 and would have also confirmed his third place in EGP if it hadn’t been for a 30-second penalty for the noise test. What we didn’t “digest” was that the bike passed the noise tests without problems both on Friday and Saturday evening at the end of the race, but as always, FIM decisions are final; the stewards and the instruments never make mistakes! Pichon, however, remains in second place in the E2 class and third in EGP in the Championship. It was a difficult weekend for Matteo Cavallo, who finished with a fifth and seventh place in E3, thirteenth and twentieth in EGP.. Matteo now occupies sixth place in the E3 championship and fifteenth in EGP. In the Junior class, our Elgari demonstrated great speed, but several crashes on both days prevented him from achieving what he had hoped for. He finished fifth in EJ and second in EJ1 on Saturday, and third in EJ and winner of EJ1 on Sunday. With these results, Alberto remains the leader in EJ1 and moves into second place in EJ, three points behind the leader. Verzeroli started the race weekend with a heavy crash in the Extreme Test, which affected his Saturday race. He finished ninth in EJ and sixth in EJ2. On Sunday, he managed to perform a little better, with some times in the top three of the Junior class, and finished the day with a sixth place in EJ and fifth in EJ2. After this race, Manuel finished sixth in EJ2 and eighth in EJ. We certainly all expected something better from this GP, but the races That’s how it is, there are difficult days that require a strong reaction in order to recover. But despite everything, on Sunday evening, the atmosphere in the team was calm, and that’s the most important thing!
