Il Campionato del Mondo EnduroGP 2026 è arrivato al suo penultimo appuntamento stagionale e, nel weekend del 17-19 luglio, ha fatto tappa a Saint-Agrève per il GP of France, una gara fondamentale nella corsa ai titoli mondiali.
Il weekend di gara si è aperto con il tradizionale Super Test del venerdì sera, disputato davanti a un pubblico numeroso che, come da tradizione francese, ha risposto con grande entusiasmo riempiendo tutte le prove speciali. Il percorso di gara in terra francese prevedeva un lungo Cross Test, veloce e impegnativo su terreno duro, seguito da un Enduro Test all’interno di un bosco tra radici e rocce e, in chiusura di ogni giro, uno spettacolare Extreme Test caratterizzato da terreno duro e numerosi ostacoli artificiali con tronchi e massi.
Buona prestazione per Morgan Lesiardo a Saint-Agrève: il pilota ha conquistato ben due podi nella classe E1, sfiorando la Top Ten assoluta della EnduroGP in entrambe le giornate. Sabato, dopo una partenza un po’ in salita, il pilota lecchese si è reso protagonista di una gran rimonta nel finale, strappando un ottimo terzo posto in E1 e l’undicesima piazza nella EnduroGP. Domenica, invece, è partito subito forte fin dalle prime speciali, stampando tempi record che gli hanno permesso, al termine di una lunghissima battaglia, di conquistare un altro meritato terzo gradino del podio nella E1.
Fine settimana in salita per Luca Colorio. Il pilota veneto ha chiuso con un sesto e un quinto posto nella Junior 1, penalizzato da una spettacolare caduta durante il Super Test del venerdì sera che ha inevitabilmente condizionato il resto della sua gara.
Menzione speciale per il pilota supportato Roland Liszka, che nella giornata di domenica ha conquistato il terzo posto nella classe Junior 1.
Archiviato il penultimo round della stagione, il Mondiale EnduroGP guarda ora all’ultimo appuntamento dell’anno, in programma dal 7 al 9 agosto a Rhayader, dove il GP of Wales assegnerà definitivamente i titoli mondiali 2026.
MORGAN LESIARDO TWICE THIRD AT THE GP OF FRANCE IN THE E1 CLASS
The 2026 EnduroGP World Championship has reached its penultimate round of the season and, over the weekend of July 17-19, made a stop in Saint-Agrève for the GP of France, a crucial race in the run for the world titles.
The race weekend kicked off with the traditional Super Test on Friday evening, held in front of a massive crowd that, in true French tradition, responded with great enthusiasm, packing every special test. The race course on French soil featured a long, fast, and demanding Cross Test on hard terrain, followed by an Enduro Test inside a forest among roots and rocks. Concluding each lap was a spectacular Extreme Test characterized by hard pack and numerous artificial obstacles, including logs and boulders..
Great performance for Morgan Lesiardo in Saint-Agrève: the rider captured two podium finishes in the E1 class, narrowingly missing out on the overall EnduroGP Top Ten on both days. On Saturday, after a bit of an uphill start, the rider from Lecco bounced back with a great comeback in the final stages, snatching an excellent third place in E1 and eleventh place in EnduroGP. On Sunday, however, he hit the ground running right from the opening tests, putting down record times that allowed him, at the end of a long battle, to claim another well-deserved third step of the podium in E1.
An uphill weekend for Luca Colorio. The Veneto-based rider finished with a sixth and a fifth place in Junior 1, penalized by a spectacular crash during Friday evening’s Super Test that inevitably conditioned the rest of his race.
Special mention for supported rider Roland Liszka, who captured third place in the Junior 1 class on Sunday.
With the penultimate round of the season in the books, the EnduroGP World Championship now looks ahead to the final event of the year, scheduled for August 7-9 in Rhayader, where the GP of Wales will definitively crown the 2026 world champions.
