L’atteso GP del Galles del Campionato del Mondo EnduroGP 2026 si è disputato questo fine settimana (7-9 agosto) a Rhayader, piccolo paese gallese con una forte tradizione enduristica, tornato a ospitare una tappa del Mondiale dopo il successo dello scorso anno.
L’evento, valido come ultimo round della stagione 2026, ha richiamato un pubblico numerosissimo, presente in massa fin dalla serata del Super Test di venerdì 7 agosto, contribuendo a rendere il weekend gallese uno degli appuntamenti più spettacolari del calendario.
Il Motoclub Rhayader, supportato dal Track Inspector Maurizio Micheluz, ha disegnato un percorso di altissimo livello tecnico, articolato in quattro prove speciali da ripetere tre volte per ogni giornata di gara, per un totale di ventiquattro speciali nel corso del weekend.
Il tracciato di gara, lungo 66 km, prevedeva nell’ordine un primo Cross Test su terreno duro e polveroso, seguito dall’Extreme Test naturale e impegnativo di 1,3 km, ricavato all’interno della pista di Saintswell. Il giro proseguiva poi con l’Enduro Test di 4,6 km, caratterizzato da sezioni secche e zone fangose, per chiudersi con il secondo Cross Test di 4,6 km all’interno del circuito di motocross di Cwmythig Hill.
Morgan Lesiardo conclude la stagione nel migliore dei modi, conquistando due secondi posti nella classe E1 e dimostrando velocità e determinazione durante tutto il weekend. Al termine di questo lungo Campionato del Mondo, Morgan Lesiardo si è laureato vicecampione del mondo nella classe E1.
Weekend altalenante per Luca Colorio, che nella classe Junior 1 ha collezionato un settimo e un sesto posto.
Ottima prestazione anche per il pilota supportato Roland Liszka, che chiude la stagione 2026 con un terzo e un quarto posto nella classe Junior 1.
Con il GP del Galles, ultimo appuntamento della stagione 2026, termina il Campionato EnduroGP, che dà appuntamento al prossimo anno.
MORGAN LESIARDO FINISHES THE SEASON WITH A DOUBLE PODIUM
AND THE E1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RUNNER-UP TITLE

The highly anticipated Welsh GP of the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship took place this weekend (7–9 August) in Rhayader, a small Welsh town with a strong enduro tradition, which returned to host a World Championship round following last year’s success.
The event, the final round of the 2026 season, attracted a huge crowd, with fans turning out in large numbers from Friday evening’s Super Test on 7 August, helping to make the Welsh weekend one of the most spectacular events on the calendar.
Motoclub Rhayader, supported by Track Inspector Maurizio Micheluz, designed a highly technical course featuring four special tests, each to be completed three times on each race day, for a total of 24 special tests over the weekend.
The 66-kilometre race course featured, in order, a first Cross Test on hard and dusty terrain, followed by the demanding 1.3-kilometre natural Extreme Test, located within the Saintswell track. The lap then continued with the 4.6-kilometre Enduro Test, featuring dry sections and muddy areas, before finishing with the second 4.6-kilometre Cross Test inside the Cwmythig Hill motocross circuit.
Morgan Lesiardo finished the season in the best possible way, securing two second-place finishes in the E1 class and showing impressive speed and determination throughout the weekend. At the end of a long World Championship season, Morgan Lesiardo was crowned E1 World Championship runner-up.
It was a mixed weekend for Luca Colorio, who finished seventh and sixth in the Junior 1 class.
An excellent performance also came from supported rider Roland Liszka, who closed the 2026 season with a third- and fourth-place finish in the Junior 1 class.
With the Welsh GP, the final round of the 2026 season, now behind us, the EnduroGP Championship comes to an end and looks ahead to next year.
