Deny Philippaerts: ” Oliana è una delle location più riconosciute per l’enduro in Spagna e non solo. Lo scorso anno era già stata una gara molto impegnativa ma la pioggia del secondo giorno aveva obbligato gli organizzatori a tagliare parte del percorso. Questo week end i piloti hanno dovuto affrontare oltre alle prove speciali un percoso di 52km tutti in fuoristrada molto tecnico. Domenica sera le faccie di molti piloti erano veramente provate!! I nostri ragazzi si sono comportati bene. Scardina ha vinto Day1 e chiuso terzo in Day2. Nella seconda giornata alcuni errori di troppo e un pò la stanchezza non gli hanno permesso di ripetere la prestazione del primo giorno. Per Giordano un ottavo e nono posto che confermano la sua crescita. Un pò più in difficoltà Berger non ancora al 100% per la frattura del radio di alcune settimane fa. Per Samuli la prima gara di EnduroGP portata al termine è comunque un inizio positivo. Per lui un undicesimo e quindicesimo in EJ1. I ragazzi ci hanno messo il 100% dell’impegno e di questo ne sono veramente contento. Ora per loro il prossimo week end ci sarà la seconda prova del Campionato Italiano under 23.”
Deny Philippaerts: “Oliana is one of the most recognized locations for enduro in Spain and beyond. Last year it was already a very demanding race, but the rain on the second day forced the organizers to cut part of the route. This weekend, in addition to the special tests, the riders had to face a 52km route, all on very technical off-road. On Sunday evening, the faces of many riders were really tired!! Our guys performed well. Scardina won Day 1 and finished third on Day 2. On the second day, a few too many mistakes and a bit of tiredness prevented them from repeating the performance of the first day. For Giordano, an eighth and ninth place confirm his growth. Berger was in a bit more difficulty, not yet at 100% due to the fracture of his radius a few weeks ago. For Samuli, completing his first EnduroGP race is still a positive start. For him, an eleventh and fifteenth in EJ1. The guys put 100% effort and I am truly grateful for this.” Happy. Now next weekend will be the second round of the Italian Under-23 Championship for them.”
