“La Spagna è terra di tradizione per l’Enduro ed il motociclismo in generale. Oliana e dintorni sono molto conosciuti per la loro apertura verso il nostro sport, cosa che ha permesso agli organizzatori di preparare un evento di alto livello che ha richiamato migliaia di spettatori. Tecnicamente la gara è stata molto difficile, sia per le prove speciali che per il trasferimento molto tecnico e tutto in fuoristrada. L’enduro test è quello che ha fatto la differenza. Circa 12 minuti di “single track” che con il passare delle moto si è bucato ed è diventato molto insidioso. In Day1 Zach è caduto nel secondo Enduro Test perdendo oltre 30 secondi è questo errore ha compromesso il risultato di giornata, chiuso comunque con un quarto posto in EGP e terzo in E2. Meglio in Day2 dove a chiuso terzo in EGP e secondo in E2. Manca ancora un pò di allenamento, dovuto all’infortunio, ma la velocità c’è. Nella E3 dopo un anno di assenza dal podio Cavallo finisce terzo in Day1. Podio sfiorato anche in Day2 dove però sul finale ha dovuto cederlo per meno di dieci secondi terminado quinto. Il livello dei primi 10/12 della EGP di questo 2026 è veramente alto, un piccolo errore e ti trovi da da terzo a decimo! Nella classe Junior Elgari ha dimostrato ancora una volta di essere in grande forma. In Day1 mentre era al comando, all’atterraggio di un salto, si sono rotti alcuni raggi della ruota posteriore. Alberto ha dovuto così fare la prova speciale dopo a passo d’uomo per riuscire ad arrivare al paddock in modo che i meccanici potessero sistemarla. Cristiano e Tino in meno di 8 minuti hanno sostituito i raggi rotti e centrato la ruota. Alberto è tornato all’attacco, ma due cadute nell’ultimo enduro test non gli hanno permesso di recuperare lo svantaggio accumulato. risultato di Day1, vincitore delle EJ1 e terzo nella EJ. In Day2 si è riscattato vincendo sia la EJ1 che la EJ. Per Verzeroli due quinti posti nella EJ2 e ottavo nella EJ. In entrambe le giornate è sempre stato vicino ai primi ma è mancato l’acuto per portare a casa il podio. Ora un pò di pausa, poi sotto al lavoro per il GP di Finlandia. Grazie a tutti!”

“Spain is a land of tradition for Enduro and motorcycling in general. Oliana and its surroundings are well known for their openness towards our sport, which allowed the organizers to prepare a high-level event that attracted thousands of spectators. Technically, the race was very difficult, both for the special tests and for the very technical transfer and all off-road. The enduro test is what made the difference. In E3, after a year of absence from the podium, Cavallo finished third on Day 1. He also missed the podium on Day 2 where, however, in the final He had to give it up by less than ten seconds, finishing fifth. The level of the top 10/12 in the 2026 EGP is really high; one small mistake and you find yourself from third to tenth! In the Junior class, Elgari once again demonstrated his great form. On Day 1, while he was leading, some spokes on his rear wheel broke upon landing from a jump. Alberto had to ride the next special stage at a walking pace to get to the paddock so the mechanics could fix it. Cristiano and Tino replaced the broken spokes and centered the wheel in less than 8 minutes. Alberto returned to the attack, but two crashes in the final enduro test prevented him from recovering the accumulated deficit. He won the EJ1 and third in the EJ class on Day 1. On Day 2, he redeemed himself by winning both the EJ1 and EJ classes. Verzeroli took two fifth places in the EJ2 class and eighth in the EJ class.
