Jarno Boano: “La gara di Caltanissetta è sempre una gara molto dura. Specialmente l’Enduro Test, come due anni fa, ha fatto la differenza. Per i piloti è come aver fatto due gara di EnduroGP!! Potrei definire questo week end “agro-dolce”. Dolce perchè nelle varie classi siamo riusciti a fare bene e confermarci leader in tutte. Agro perchè a livello di classifica Assoluta non sono arrivati i risultati sperati. Ma su questo punto diciamo che questo week end non è stato dei più fortunati. Zach ha fatto bene, ma il dito infortunato lo ha comunque limitato non essendo ancora al 100% e una caduta oggi all’ultimo Enduro test lo ha privato del podio finale. Alberto dopo una prima giornata positiva nella notte ha preso un’influenza intestinale che lo ha completamente disidratato e oggi ha sofferto. L’unico obbiettivo era finire la giornata. Verzeroli in una linea a piegato il disco freno anteriore e la corona perdento parecchio tempo che non è poi più riuscito a recuperare. Cavallo ha avuto un piccolo problema tecnico, risolto a metà gara, che però ha condizionato la sua giornata. In poche parole direi la classica giornata NO, dove tutto sembra girare storto. Ma lo sport è anche questo, quindi guardiamo avanti con il positivo che è arrivato. Prossima tappa l’EnduroGP in Spagna tra due settimane.”
Jarno: “The Caltanissetta race is always a very tough race. Especially the Enduro Test, like two years ago, made the difference. For the riders it’s like having done two EnduroGP races!! I could define this weekend as “bittersweet”. Sweet because in the various classes we managed to do well and confirm ourselves as leaders in all of them. Bitter because in terms of the overall standings we didn’t get the results we hoped for. But on this point let’s say that this weekend wasn’t the luckiest. Zach did well, but the injured finger still limited him as he wasn’t yet 100% and a fall today at the last Enduro test deprived him of the final podium. Alberto, after a positive first day, caught a stomach flu during the night which completely dehydrated him and today he suffered. The only goal was to finish the day. Verzeroli bent the front brake disc and the chain ring in a line, losing a lot of time that he was then unable to recover. Cavallo had a small technical problem, solved halfway through the race, which however It affected his day. In short, I’d say it was a classic bad day, where everything seemed to go wrong. But that’s part of sport, so let’s look forward with the positives that have come. The next stop is the EnduroGP in Spain in two weeks.”
