Eccoci qui per la nostra 37esima stagione di mondiale enduro, per il tredicesimo anno con i colori di Sherco factory.
Dopo le prime due gare di “rodaggio” in Italia, pronti per questo debutto mondiale, nella splendida Custonaci. Ottima gara, ottima organizzazione, ma questo in Sicilia non è mai stato un problema, solo una conferma, bravi!
Nel pregara, abbiamo approfittato di questa situazione “mondiale”, per presentare le due trecentone
replica di Hamish e Steve, nessuna location poteva essere migliore. Veniamo alla gara, che per noi è partita piuttosto bene.
Iniziamo dal nuovo arrivato, Steve Holcombe, che ha subito dimostrato di essere ormai in palla, comanda la E3 dopo questa prova, sfugge la vittoria assoluta di domenica per una brutta caduta, che per fortuna non ha lasciato conseguenze… il mondo “social” ha molto gradito queste immagini, io un po’ meno… Steve si stà ambientando con tutto, e si vedono i primi frutti.
La seconda bella sorpresa, Antoine Magain, capace di contendere la vittoria a sua maestà Garcia e già questo basta. Una consistenza incredibile, pochi errori. Il ragazzo in forma stellare, saldamente secondo nella E1 e quarto allo scracht. Chapeau! I miglioramenti del 2025 non erano fuochi di paglia.
Anche il lungo Roussaly si è confermato in crescita, nelle posizioni top nella E3, in crescita costante. E’ un bel diesel lui, ha i suoi tempi.
Unico ancora non in palla, il nostro Hamish, alle prese con un inizio di stagione un po’ confuso, lo aiuteremo a ramparne fuori, abbiamo fiducia. Ha tirato la carretta in tutti questi anni, sotto a lavorare. Ci può stare.
Tutto il Team si è rivelato ancora all’altezza delle situazione, una bella sinergia che fa ben sperare. Tanti tifosi Sherco in terra sicula, una bella soddisfazione, frutto del bel lavoro dei nostri rivenditori.
Adesso ci spostiamo a Caltanisetta per gli assoluti, dove Steve e Hamish continueranno la preparazione in vista del mondiale di Oliana a inizio maggio.

Hi everyone!
Here we are for our 37th season of the World Enduro Championship, for the thirteenth year wearing the Sherco factory colours.
After the first two “test” races in Italy, we’re ready for this world debut in the beautiful Custonaci. Excellent race, excellent organization, but this has never been a problem in Sicily, just a confirmation. Well done!
In the pre-race, we took advantage of this “global” situation, to present the two 300 replicas of Hamish and Steve, no location could have been better.
Let’s get to the race, which started off pretty well for us.
Let’s start with the newcomer, Steve Holcombe, who immediately showed he’s in top form. He leads the E3 after this race, but missed out on Sunday’s overall victory due to a nasty crash, which fortunately didn’t cause any injuries… the social media world really enjoyed these images, but I, a little less so… Steve is getting used to everything, and the first results are starting to show.
The second great surprise, Antoine Magain, capable of challenging His Majesty Garcia for the win, and that alone is enough. Incredible consistency, few mistakes. The boy is in stellar form, firmly second in the E1 and fourth in the scratch. Hats off! The improvements in 2025 weren’t just flashes in the pan.
Even Roussaly has shown signs of improvement, consistently rising to the top of the E3 rankings. He’s a good diesel, he has his own pace.
The only rider still not in top form is our Hamish, who’s having a somewhat confusing start to the season. We’ll help him get over it, we’re confident. He’s been pulling his weight all these years, so let’s get to work. That’s understandable.
The entire team has once again proven to be up to the task, a great synergy that gives us hope. Lots of Sherco fans in Sicily, a great satisfaction, the result of the great work of our dealers.
Now we move to Caltanissetta for the World Championships, where Steve and Hamish will continue their preparations for the Oliana World Championship in early May.
