VIERUMÄKI 23-24 MAGGIO 2026
Il Campionato Mondiale FIM EnduroGP ha fatto tappa in Finlandia per il terzo round della stagione 2026, disputato dal 22 al 24 maggio a Vierumäki, all’interno del suggestivo Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark. Una delle gare più caratteristiche del calendario iridato.
Il terreno finlandese si è confermato particolarmente impegnativo grazie a un mix di sabbia, pietre e lunghi tratti boschivi ricchi di radici, elementi che hanno reso la gara dura e molto selettiva. I piloti hanno affrontato un percorso complessivo di 59 chilometri con tre prove speciali ben distinte: una Extreme Test molto tecnica e naturale, una Enduro Test veloce e insidiosa e un Cross Test rapido e polveroso su fondo compatto.
Un weekend perfetto per Morgan Lesiardo: nella giornata di apertura ha lottato e conquistato caparbiamente il secondo posto nella classe E1 grazie agli ottimi tempi registrati nelle prove speciali Enduro Test ed Extreme Test. Nella classe EnduroGP, il pilota del team Triumph Italia Racing è entrato nella Top Ten conquistando un ottavo posto.
Anche nella giornata di gara seguente Morgan Lesiardo ha disputato una gara incredibile, concludendo ancora una volta al secondo posto e migliorando il proprio risultato nella classe EnduroGP, chiudendo sesto assoluto.
Grazie ai due secondi posti conquistati a Vierumäki, Morgan Lesiardo chiude il terzo GP, che segna il giro di boa del Campionato 2026, salendo dalla terza alla seconda posizione provvisoria nella classe E1
Nella classe Junior 1, Luca Colorio ha conquistato un settimo posto nella giornata di apertura, mentre in quella seguente ha lottato fino all’ultima prova speciale per il podio finale, dovendosi però accontentare alla fine della quarta posizione.
Il Mondiale si sposta ora in Portogallo per il quarto e quinto round della stagione, entrambi in programma a Fafe nel mese di giugno.
The FIM EnduroGP World Championship stopped in Finland for the third round of the 2026 season, held from May 22 to 24 in Vierumäki, inside the stunning Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark. It was one of the most distinctive rounds on the world championship calendar.
The Finnish terrain once again proved to be extremely demanding, with a mix of sand, rocks, and long forest sections full of roots, making the race both tough and highly selective. Riders faced a 59-kilometre course featuring three clearly defined special tests: a highly technical and natural Extreme Test, a fast and tricky Enduro Test, and a quick, dusty Cross Test on hard-packed ground.
A perfect weekend for Morgan Lesiardo: on the opening day he fought hard and secured a strong second place in the E1 class thanks to excellent times recorded in the Enduro Test and Extreme Test. In the EnduroGP class, the Triumph Italia Racing rider entered the Top Ten with an eighth-place finish.
On the following race day, Morgan Lesiardo delivered another outstanding performance, once again finishing second and improving his EnduroGP result, where he placed sixth overall.
Thanks to the two second places achieved in Vierumäki, Morgan Lesiardo closes the third GP, marking the halfway point of the 2026 season, moving up from third to second in the provisional E1 standings.
In the Junior 1 class, Luca Colorio finished seventh on the opening day, while on Sunday he fought until the very last special test for a place on the podium, ultimately having to settle for fourth in the Day 2 results.
The World Championship now moves to Portugal for the fourth and fifth rounds of the season, both scheduled in Fafe in June.

Morgan Lesiardo ha corso una gara concreta, senza mai commettere errori gravi e segnando degli ottimi tempi. Grazie ai due secondi posti conquistati in Finlandia occupa attualmente la seconda posizione della classe E1. Luca Colorio invece non è riuscito ad ottenere un buon risultato per qualche errore di troppo, nella giornata di domenica il pilota veneto ha quasi raggiunto il podio nella classe Junior 1, sfuggito proprio all’ultima prova speciale.
Morgan Lesiardo delivered a solid race, with no major mistakes and consistently strong times. Thanks to the two second places in Finland, he currently holds second position in the E1 standings. Luca Colorio, on the other hand, was unable to secure a strong result due to a few too many mistakes; on Sunday, the Italian rider came very close to the podium in the Junior 1 class, which slipped away on the very last special test.

È stato un ottimo weekend di gara, ho cercato di essere costante in tutte le prove perché qui in Finlandia le speciali erano tutte impegnative e fare un errore era facile. Grazie a questi due secondi posti sono salito in classifica e attualmente occupa la seconda posizione provvisoria.
It was a great race weekend. I focused on consistency across all the race because the specials tests here in Finland were very demanding and it was easy to make mistakes. Thanks to these two second places, I’ve moved up in the standings and I currently sit second overall.

Un weekend da dimenticare, sabato ho commesso un paio di errori che hanno compromesso l’esito positivo della gara mentre domenica non sono riuscito a concretizzare una buona prestazione e il podio mi è sfuggito proprio all’ultima prova speciale
A weekend to forget. On Saturday I made a couple of mistakes that compromised the result, while on Sunday I wasn’t able to convert a good performance and the podium slipped away on the very last special test.
