Il Campionato del Mondo FIM EnduroGP 2026 è tornato in azione a Fafe dal 19 al 21 giugno per il quinto round della stagione, a una sola settimana dal precedente appuntamento disputato nella medesima località portoghese.
Il weekend di gara si è aperto venerdì sera con il tradizionale Super Test, disputato davanti a una folta cornice di pubblico accorso per assistere allo spettacolo dei migliori piloti del panorama mondiale.
Ad attendere il Circus dell’EnduroGP un percorso totale di 50 km caratterizzato da tre prove speciali da ripetere tre volte nel corso della giornata di sabato e due volte e mezzo nella giornata di domenica, per un totale di 17 prove speciali durante il fine settimana.
Il tracciato prevedeva nell’ordine un impegnativo Extreme Test naturale e molto tecnico, reso particolarmente selettivo dai classici sassi portoghesi; a seguire un Enduro Test tecnico e poco veloce, caratterizzato da numerosi tratti impegnativi tra rocce, pietre e terreno polveroso; infine un Cross Test veloce su fondo duro e polveroso, capace di fare la differenza grazie ai distacchi ridotti tra i protagonisti.
Grande prestazione per Morgan Lesiardo a Fafe: il pilota lecchese ha chiuso entrambe le giornate di gara al secondo posto nella classe E1.
Nel Day 1, nonostante qualche errore di troppo in alcune prove speciali è riuscito comunque a registrare ottimi tempi, concludendo la giornata al secondo posto nella classe E1 e in decima posizione assoluta nella EnduroGP.
Nella giornata successiva Morgan Lesiardo ha saputo fare tesoro degli errori commessi il sabato, migliorando ulteriormente la propria prestazione e chiudendo nuovamente al secondo posto nella classe E1, e in nona posizione assoluta nella EnduroGP.
Dopo cinque round stagionali, Morgan Lesiardo si conferma tra i protagonisti della categoria occupando la seconda posizione nella classifica della classe E1 del Campionato del Mondo EnduroGP
Weekend difficile invece per Luca Colorio. Il pilota veneto ha concluso le due giornate di gara al nono e tredicesimo posto nella classe Junior, mentre nella Junior1 ha ottenuto una quarta posizione nel Day 1 e una quinta nel Day 2.
Con il quinto round ormai alle spalle, il Mondiale EnduroGP entra nella sua fase decisiva: il prossimo appuntamento sarà il GP di Francia a Saint-Agrève, in programma dal 17 al 19 luglio e valido come penultimo round della stagione 2026.
The 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship returned to action in Fafe from June 19-21 for the fifth round of the season, just one week after the previous event held at the same Portuguese venue.
The race weekend got underway on Friday evening with the traditional Super Test, contested in front of a large crowd that gathered to watch the world’s best enduro riders in action. Awaiting the EnduroGP paddock was a 50 km course featuring three special tests to be repeated three times on Saturday and two and a half times on Sunday, for a total of 17 special tests over the course of the weekend.
The course consisted, in order, of a demanding natural and highly technical Extreme Test made particularly challenging by the classic portuguese rocks; followed by a technical and relatively slow Enduro Test featuring numerous demanding sections with rocks, stones and dusty terrain; and finally a fast Cross Test on hard-packed and dusty ground, where the smallest gaps could make a significant difference between the riders.
It was a strong performance for Morgan Lesiardo in Fafe, with the Lecco-based rider finishing both race days in second place in the E1 class.
On Day 1, despite making a few too many mistakes in some of the special tests, he still managed to post competitive times, ending the day second in the E1 class and tenth overall in the EnduroGP standings.
On the following day, Lesiardo learned from the mistakes made on Saturday, further improving his performance and once again securing second place in the E1 class, while also finishing ninth overall in EnduroGP.
After five rounds of the season, Morgan Lesiardo continues to be one of the leading contenders in the category and currently holds second place in the E1 class standings of the EnduroGP World Championship.
It was a difficult weekend, however, for Luca Colorio. The Veneto-bsed rider finished ninth and thirteenth in the Junior class across the two race days, while in the Junior1 category he secured fourth place on Day 1 and fifth place on Day 2.
Archived round 5 the EnduroGP World Championship enters its decisive phase. The next event will be the French GP in Saint-Agrève from July 17-19, which will serve as the penultimate round of the 2026 season.
