Il Team Lunigiana Enduro ha archiviato a Oliana, in Spagna, il secondo appuntamento del Campionato del Mondo Enduro 2026 con un altro fine settimana utile per proseguire il percorso di crescita avviato insieme a Charlie Chater. Sul terreno catalano, in una gara resa insidiosa da condizioni meteo variabili e da un fondo reso scivoloso dalla pioggia leggera caduta soprattutto nella prima giornata, il giovane pilota britannico ha confermato una buona continuità di rendimento, restando stabilmente nella top ten della classe E3.
Il round spagnolo si è disputato a Oliana, nella valle del Segre, in un contesto montano che segna l’ingresso ai Pirenei meridionali. Il programma del weekend prevedeva il Super Test del venerdì sera, seguito dalle tradizionali prove speciali del Mondiale, con Cross Test, Enduro Test ed Extreme Test, su un percorso tecnico che ha richiesto attenzione e regolarità.
UNA GARA REGOLARE FIN DAL SUPERTEST
Fin dal Super Test del venerdì, Charlie Chater ha mostrato un approccio concreto, chiudendo al 29° posto assoluto EnduroGP e al 10° posto della E3. Nelle due giornate di gara ha poi confermato la propria regolarità, con il 30° posto assoluto sia sabato sia domenica e con due 9° posti nella classe E3, risultati che gli hanno permesso di restare con continuità nella parte alta della categoria.
Al di là del puro dato numerico, quello spagnolo è stato un altro weekend positivo soprattutto per la capacità di Chater di mantenere un rendimento costante in un contesto tecnico non semplice. Dopo una gara inaugurale utile per prendere confidenza con squadra e moto, a Oliana il pilota inglese ha compiuto un altro passo avanti sul piano della continuità, confermandosi stabilmente tra i migliori dieci della E3.
SEMPRE PIÙ AVANTI IN CAMPIONATO
Al termine dei due giorni di gara in Spagna, Charlie Chater occupa saldamente il 10° posto della classifica provvisoria E3 con 25 punti, a una sola lunghezza da Alex Walton, che lo precede. Un dato che conferma la bontà del lavoro svolto fin qui dal Team Lunigiana Enduro e il valore di un percorso costruito passo dopo passo, senza forzature ma con una crescita costante.

«Oliana è stata una gara utile, forse ancora più di quanto dicano i numeri. Le condizioni non erano facili, soprattutto per il grip, e bisognava restare concentrati dall’inizio alla fine. Sono contento di essere riuscito a mantenere una buona regolarità e di essere rimasto dentro la top ten della E3 in entrambe le giornate. Stiamo continuando a lavorare bene insieme e sento che il feeling con il team cresce gara dopo gara.»

TOP TEN IN E3 FOR CHATER AT OLIANA
Team Lunigiana Enduro completed the second round of the 2026 Enduro World Championship in Oliana, Spain, with another useful weekend in the growth path it has started together with Charlie Chater. On Spanish soil, in a race made demanding by variable weather and slippery ground, the young British rider once again showed solid consistency, staying firmly inside the top ten of the E3 class.
The Spanish round took place in Oliana, in Catalonia, on a technical and selective course that required precision, rhythm and attention throughout the weekend. After the opening Super Test on Friday evening, the riders faced the traditional special tests of the championship, in conditions that became more difficult as the weather changed and the surface became increasingly tricky to interpret.
A consistent performance from the Supertest onwards
From the Friday Supertest, Charlie Chater approached the event in a positive and controlled way, finishing 29th overall in EnduroGP and 10th in the E3 class.
He then confirmed that consistency over the two race days, taking 30th overall on both Saturday and Sunday, while finishing 9th in E3 on both days.
More than just the numbers, the Spanish weekend was another positive step because of Chater’s ability to maintain a steady pace in a difficult technical environment. After the opening round had mainly been about getting familiar with the team and the bike, Oliana showed another step forward in terms of continuity and race management, with the British rider consistently running inside the top ten of his class.

At the end of the Spanish round, Charlie Chater holds a solid 10th place in the provisional E3 standings with 25 points, just one point behind Alex Walton, who is immediately ahead of him.
This is another encouraging sign for Team Lunigiana Enduro, confirming the value of a project that is being built step by step, with steady progress and without forcing the pace.
