“Purtroppo a questa trasferta il nostro Team Junior si è presentato dimezzato. Berger deve recuperare bene da una frattura al braccio, dopo aver provato a correre diverse gare non al 100%. Per Samuli uno stop per “ricaricare” le batterie dopo un inizio di stagione super positivo a livello Nazionale ma al di sotto delle aspettative nel Mondiale. Entrambi rientreranno in Francia. A tenere super alto i colori del Team Junior ci ha pensato un grande Pietro Scardina che ha dominato entrambe le giornate di gara. Pietro è riuscito a mettere in “pista” tutto quello che di buono viene in allenamento e questa forse è la soddisfazione migliore. Due primi posti e tabella rossa di Leader di Campionato! Sempre nella Youth Giordano in Day 1 a sfiorato la Top 5 e in Day 2 a chiuso al settimo posto. AL suo debutto Mondiale anche il nostro Jeremy Boano nella classe Open 2t. Jeremy con i suoi 16 anni è risultato il più giovane alla Partenza! Una prima giornata difficile, sia per la tensione, che per le troppe cadute lo ha costretto al ritiro. Nella seconda gioranta Jeremy ha tenuto duro e portato a termine la gara con un ottavo posto nella Open 2T. Classe che ha visto oltre 10 ritirati!! Un GP difficile sia per il tipo di terreno, molto polveroso e secco, con molte pietre nascoste dalla polvere, che per il caldo sempre oltre i 35 gradi tutto il week end. Ora quasi pronti sempre qua a Fafe per il GP di Portogallo 2, con prove speciali e trasferimento completamente nuovi..”

“Unfortunately, our Junior Team showed up for this trip with only half of its strength. Berger needs to recover well from a broken arm after trying to race in several races that weren’t at 100%. Samuli is taking a break to “recharge” his batteries after a super positive start to the season at the National level but below expectations in the World Championships. Both will return to France. A great Pietro Scardina kept the Junior Team’s colors flying high, dominating both days of competition. Pietro managed to put everything that comes from training on the “track” and this is perhaps the greatest satisfaction. Two first places and the red plate of Championship Leader! Still in the Youth category, Giordano narrowly missed the Top 5 on Day 1 and finished in seventh place on Day 2. Also making his World Championship debut was our Jeremy Boano in the Open 2t class. Jeremy, at 16 years old, was the youngest at the Start! A difficult first day, both due to the tension and the many falls, forced him to On the second day, Jeremy held firm and finished the race with an eighth place in the Open 2T class. This class has seen over 10 retirements! It was a difficult GP, both for the type of terrain—very dusty and dry, with many rocks hidden by the dust—and for the heat, which stayed above 35 degrees all weekend. Now we’re almost ready, still here in Fafe, for the Portuguese GP 2, with completely new special stages and transfers.
